Well-known resort in the eastern part of the region, 20 kms. SE of Cádiz, 110 kms. from Sevilla. Famous for its wine "De Pasto", crafts and the thermal resort "Fuente Amarga". Picturesque heart of the village with typical white houses, St Ana's hermitage. Opposite the coast is the island of Sancti Petri with a 13th century castle. Also excursions to Jérez- wine-, "pueblos blancos", Arcos de la Frontera and boat trips on the Guadalquivir river to the Doñana nature reserve.
Enjoy all sorts of water sports in the vicinity, especially windsurfing. Horseriding and bikes are also available amongst other activities. The nearest golf course is just 5 kms. away.
