The Pirineo Catalán (Catalan Pyrenees) is well-known for the general quality of its slopes. Large, accessible and located in beautiful natural country, the snow is excellently conserved. Baqueira-Beret, in the Arán valley, is probably the most famous resort both for its excellent facilities and famous visitors! But the resorts of Boí Taull, Espot, La Molina and Masella (in Cerdanya) and Port Ainé are all easy to get to from Barcelona.
